EVERYTHING ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW

I take all my cats and kittens very seriously. They are part of my family. They are all fed premium foods, the absolute best money can buy. Every one of them visits the vet on a regular basis, gets regular checkups, vaccinations and have been tested for everything including FIV and FeLV. This assures me and you, that you are getting the absolutely best pet you could possibly get for yourself and your family for many years of love, companionship and enjoyment.  All of my cats and kittens are TICA registered purebred Siberians.

I have chosen my lines very carefully and do not buy particular lines known to carry or pass on PKD or HCM. I do not send any of my cats out to other catteries, nor do I bring in other cats into my cattery. My lines include some of the oldest, most prestigious lines of Traditional Siberians from Russia, including the BLACK, SILVA, MARCELL, VALENVIC, and DAURIA lines just to name a few. What does this mean to you?  By using cats from these solid, “tried and true” lines, I take comfort in knowing the quality of their health, and the health of their lines, the consistency of the standards within them, and their genetic make-up for generations back. I have chosen particular cats in these lines and in my cattery very carefully to make sure they have a very long family history of health and excellence.  This again assures both myself and you of the type of top quality kitten you will receive from me.

My cats have been tested by a world renown International Biotech firm for their FEL D1 levels – what triggers allergic reactions in most of the pet sensitive persons.  This global laboratory, with headquarters around the world, specializes in such testing and assures me of the lowest levels of FEL D1 in my cats.  I’ve taken this extra measure for people who are pet sensitive and looking for a pet they can bring into their lives and homes to love, and not have to suffer with their allergies or allergic symptoms most commonly associated with cats.

When you make the decision that you do indeed want a beautiful kitten to love for the next 15 to 20 years, and are willing to make that type of commitment, I will need to know a few things about you.

  • My first concern ALWAYS is the health, well being, love, care and happiness this kitten will receive.
  • These are INDOOR cats.
  • If you are looking for a cat to let outside all day, then this is not the cat for you.
  • If you are the type of person that works long hours all day with no one home, then you may want to consider two of them to keep each other company.
  • If you or your family are the type that work all day, out all the time at night, and away every other weekend leaving this kitten or cat home by itself all the time, then please don’t buy a kitten from me or any other breeder, or get any pet at all for that matter.

A pet is a commitment of love, to spend time with, and a devotion. They are like “babies” or “children” and just the same, need lots of that love, attention, and caring.  They need human contact and need to be included in your life every day.

I have a small, informal inquiry or questionnaire for you, so I know my kitten is going to the right type of home and family, and will have a long, happy life.  I will also need to know if anyone in the family has “pet allergies” at that time.

When I receive your deposit, I will then of course send you paperwork.  Besides the contract of sale, final payment information, a spaying / neutering agreement, a save the paws clause, and health guarantee, I will send you information on how to “kitten” proof your home - those helpful hints and tips, similar to “baby” proofing your home, and what you should be doing BEFORE your bundle of joy arrives.

A check list of things you may need, or need to buy for your home, a list of what you will need if you pick-up your kitten and traveling, and a list if you are picking up your kitten at the airport. Also a list of things you should be doing for the first few days, until your kitten becomes a bit more acquainted with their new family and surroundings. This way you are 100% prepared and the transition for your new kitten and yourself are as simple, and stress free as possible.

I have collected and compiled lots of information for your needs.  I am working with an organization right now to be able to include a book, a COMPLETE GUIDE TO CATS, which has lots of great information about caring for your kitten or cat from the time he or she comes home, right into their senior years.

Upon your proof of spaying or neutering, you will get the necessary pedigree information needed to register your kitten.   My kittens do not leave my home the moment they are weaned.  I do not hurry them out the door.  I like to make sure myself that THEY are the ones ready to leave the nest.  That they are well socialized, and readily eating on their own for a little while.  They will be the ones to let me know when they are ready.

When they make that final leap from my arms and into yours and when you return home with your new addition to your family, I will of course want to know that you did, by a simple phone call that all is well.  I will be in contact with you for a while to make sure things are going great and smoothly with everyone.  This is still my “baby” that I brought into this world and will want to make sure everything is o.k., like any “mother” would.  I do not stop caring because a kitten has left me and is in a new home.

I am available to you by telephone, by e-mail, by cell phone, should you have any questions, or if there are any problems that arise, or you don’t know, or are not sure of something.  I leave the door of communication very wide open, and encourage you to call me on anything, no matter how small or trivial it may sound to you, call, call, and call!  A simple phone call can make a big difference, so I can’t say it any better – call, call, call me anytime!
